PDF is a vector..

INTRODUCTION:
mybe you all know this already..
but i just notice this today..
that PDF is a VECTOR format..
that's why when you ZOOM like 1000 times,
the image is still cool..

HOW I NOTICED THEM:

in illustrator

Time:last night after done with GreenEve2Peace shirt design for Imagine CUP.
that time, i just wonder what type should i save this file..
*.ai? can only be open by Illustrator..
*.png? can also, but.. the file size quite big..

Exploring TIME...
File>Save as..
look at the file types..
AI,PDF,SVG..
waa~ got PDF one la..
try save lo..

AFTER SAVE:
After saving the file, nothing to do lo.. go open it lo..
This is picture after open with Foxit Reader..
quite sure if open Adobe Reader, or any other PDF reader should be the same..

Got three menu at the left side..
Top: Bookmarks (you know.. marking the book)
Middle: Pages thumbnails
Bottom: Layer
WHAT ABOUT LAYER
if you all like to designing with whatever good designing software..
most of them use layer, to manage the z-index(or whose top, whose bottom.. position lo)
layer usually can be locked, can be hidden, can be deleted and many more..

after saves from AI, in PDF format.. open with PDF reader.. (Foxit)..
go to LAYER, what u can do is set the visibility of the layers..
waa~ so good.. the good thing some more is... it is VECTOR..

VECTOR AND ZOOMING..

this picture show how i zoom 200% to the logo..
the quality is maintain.. this is VECTOR power~ (in foxit)

Swift + WPF = T.T

Aku da tau lame pasal Swift le export XAML tapi xpernah lak aku try..
so, kali ni aku try la skit.. best WOoo~


















First thing first, untuk senang kan kerja mendesign VECTOR untuk ape2 lam SWIFT better guna Illustrator.. Sebabnye, SWIFT le import file format *.ai, *.dxf,*.dxb dan beberape jenis files yang aku pun xpernah dengar..











start ngan bukak SWIFT3D..
hehehe.. baru download kot..~

















File>import..
select AI file tadi..















Pastu.. ape2 yang korang design lam AI tu kuar la kt SWIFT ni..~ pastu le la, main2 ngan lighting, pattern, ape2 la mende yang sungguh bnyak kt sini.. yang penting gk korang le letak animation skali..














ni da lepas abis adjust la ni..
seme mende aku drag masuk atas logo ni..
mau 10 sources lighting atas logo ni.. haha


pergi ke 'Preview and Export editor'..
kt bahagian ni.. mase untuk generate frame dan export lam format yang dipilih la..
so aku pilih XAML, kt situ jugak ade la korang le pilih untuk compression..

























File>export all frames..
so aku save/export XAML ni kt desktop..













then test bukak XAML ngan notepad..
berapa bnyak panjang code ni aku pun xtau..
mmg bnyak mende dia store untuk semua mende skali..

last skali aku masukkan XAML code lam Expression Blend, kasi transparent semua..
tinggallah logo tu pusing2 kt atas desktop tu..

mmg betul2 canggih la jugak.. sbb 3d la katakan..
hehehehe..


p/s: so, skali lagi ye.. tak nyesal punye korang blajar illustrator, sebab mende2 yang kait ngan VECTOR ni bnyak guna..
